It may be also sensitive to prolonged exposure to air. It is a weak base that forms salts with hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid. o-Tolidine can be acetylated. It is incompatible with strong agents. Flash point data for o-Tolidine are not available; however, it is probably combustible.
