  Potassium trichloroethyleneplatinate , its cas register number is 12012-50-9. It also can be called EINECS 234-577-7 ; NSC 162964 ; Platinate(1-), trichloro(ethylene)-, potassium ; Potassium ethylenetrichloroplatinate(II) ; Potassium trichloro(ethylene)platinate(II) ; Pt-93 . When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of Pt and Cl. Potassium trichloroethyleneplatinate (CAS NO.12012-50-9) is irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin.
