It is also known as Calcium lactate pentahydrate ; Calcium L-lactate pentahydrate ; calcium lactate ; Calcium lactate (TN) ; Calcium lactate (JP15) ; D02254 . L-Lactic acid calcium salt (5743-47-5) loses all the crystal water at 120 °C to become anhydrous. The product is made by natural fermentation with starch as raw material.
