Solutions of 1,2,3,4,7,8-Hexachlorodibenzo-P-Dioxin may be sensitive to light. Solutions of this type of compound in methanol are degraded by exposure to summer sunlight or irradiation with an ultraviolet lamp (300 nm). 1,2,3,4,7,8-Hexachlorodibenzo-P-Dioxinis probably combustible.
