1-Bromo-2,4-dinitrobenzene ,its cas register number is 584-48-5. It also can be called 2,4-Dinitrobromobenzene ; 4-Bromo-1,3-dinitrobenzene ; and Benzene, 1-bromo-2,4-dinitro- . It is hazardous, so the first aid measures and others should be known. Such as: When on the skin: should flush skin with plenty of water immediately for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing. Or in the eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. While, it's inhaled: Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Then get medical aid immediately. Then you have the ingesting of the product: do not induce vomiting. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical aid immediately.
In addition, 1-Bromo-2,4-dinitrobenzene (CAS NO.584-48-5) could be stable under normal temperatures and pressures. It is not compatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong bases, and it's not avoided with incompatible materials, and temperatures above 150 °C. And also prevent it to broken down into hazardous decomposition products: carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen bromide.
