Such as: 1,3-Dihydroimidazol-2-one reacts with 2,3-dibromo-6,7-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-c]azepin-8-one to get 2,3-dibromo-4-(2-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-imidazol-4-yl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-c]azepin-8-one ; 1,3-dihydro-imidazol-2-one reacts with benzoyl chloride to get 4-benzoyl-1,3-dihydro-imidazol-2-one ;  1,3-dihydro-imidazol-2-one reacts with furan-2-carbonyl chloride to get 4-(furan-2-carbonyl)-1,3-dihydro-imidazol-2-one ; 1,3-dihydro-imidazol-2-one reacts with thiophene-2-carbonyl chloride to get 4-(thiophene-2-carbonyl)-1,3-dihydro-imidazol-2-one .
