Preparation of Dimethyl acetamidomalonate: This chemical can be prepared by acetic acid anhydride and hydroxyimino-malonic acid dimethyl ester. The reaction will need reagent In and AcOH, and the menstruum tetrahydrofuran. And the yield is about 65%.
Uses of Dimethyl acetamidomalonate: It can react with propynoic acid methyl ester to produce 4-acetylamino-4-methoxycarbonyl-pent-2-enedioic acid dimethyl ester.
