Appearance: | A colorless liquid. |
Specification: |
Propene Tetramer (CAS NO.6842-15-5) is a colorless liquid. It is less dense than water and insoluble in water. Its vapors are heavier than air. Also it may irritate skin and eyes, and may be narcotic in high concentrations. It may react vigorously with strong oxidizing agents and may react exothermically with reducing agents to release hydrogen gas. In the presence of various catalysts (such as acids) or initiators, may undergo exothermic addition polymerization reactions. No inhalation hazard expected. Aspiration hazard if ingested. Low skin and eye irritation.
