Preparation of Sudan blue: It can be obtained by sulfuric acid diethyl ester and 1,4-diamino-anthraquinone with the reagent NaOH, K₂CO₃, tetrabutylammonium bromide and solvent 1,2-dichloro-ethane at the temperature of 50-55 °C. The reaction time is 3 hours. The yield is 85 %.
