Cerium trichloride (7790-86-5)

Extinguishing Media: Use water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or chemical foam. 
Handling: Avoid breathing dust, vapor, mist, or gas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid ingestion and inhalation. 
Storage: Store Cerium(iii) chloride (7790-86-5) in a cool, dry place. Store in a tightly closed container. Store under an inert atmosphere. 
Chemical Stability: Hygroscopic: absorbs moisture or water from the air. 
Conditions to Avoid: Incompatible materials, dust generation, exposure to moist air or water. 
Incompatibilities with Other Materials: Strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, bases. 
Hazardous Decomposition Products: Hydrogen chloride. 
Hazardous Polymerization :Will not occur.
