Specification:

Diethyl ethylphosphonate , with CAS number of 78-38-6, can be called Phosphonic acid, ethyl-, diethyl ester ; Ethanephosphonic acid, diethyl ester ; CCRIS 6230 ; AI3-18558 ; HSDB 2560 . It is a colourless liquid, it is slightly soluble in water, may hydrolyze under acid or basic conditions. Diethyl ethylphosphonate (CAS NO.78-38-6) are susceptible to formation of highly toxic and flammable phosphine gas in the presence of strong reducing agents such as hydrides. Partial oxidation by oxidizing agents may result in the release of toxic phosphorus oxides.
