| Biological Activity: | Potent non-competitive antagonist of neuronal nicotinic ACh receptors (nAChRs). Produces long-lasting inhibition of neuronal nAChRs formed by the combination of the most abundant α and β subunits (i.e. α 3, α 4 and β 2, β 4 respectively). Displays little inhibition of muscle-type ( α 1 β 1 γ δ ) or α 7 receptors. |
