Sodium tartrate (868-18-8) also can be called Bisodium tartrate ; Sal tartar ; Sodium L-tartrate ; Disodium tartrate ; Monosodium tartrate .At 120 °C, it will loss crystal water, and then continuing being heated will make it broken down. When emitting a burning, it smells like burning sugar, and its residue (ash) was strongly alkaline.
