The preparation method of 2-QUINOXALINOL (1196-57-2) is based on o-phenylenediamine and chloroacetic acid as starting material, the first synthesis of 2 - hydroxy -  dihydro- Quinoxaline ( hereinafter referred to dihydro- ), and then hydrogen peroxide, to be 2 - Hydroxyquinoxaline. Will chloroacetic acid, water added to the 1000L Enamel Reactor, stirring to dissolve, then add o-phenylenediamine, and constantly stirring, in batches into precipitated calcium carbonate, temperature and reaction some time. Cooling, add sodium hydroxide solution, mixing the material break. Adding hydrogen peroxide, temperature response some time. Serve hot filtered to remove residues, and in the filtrate with concentrated hydrochloric acid, filtration, drying, that is to be 2 - Hydroxyquinoxaline.
Now with the glyoxylic acid line, good quality and high yield.
