[Fire Fighting]

Keep unnecessary people away; isolate hazard area and deny entry. Stay upwind; keep out of low areas. Ventilate closed spaces before entering them. Wear positive pressure breathing apparatus and special protective clothing. Remove and isolate contaminated clothing at the site. Move container from fire area if you can do it without risk. Fight fire from maximum distance. Dike fire control water for later disposal; do not scatter the material. Extinguish fires with dry chemical, carbon dioxide, water spray, fog, or foam.
[Ingestion]

Give water and induce vomiting. Never give anthing to an unconscious person. Obtain medical attention.
[Inhalation]

Remove to fresh air. Give CPR and/or oxygen if required.
[Skin]

Wash with soap and water.
[Eyes]

Flush with water for 15 minutes.
[Storage]

Store at away from heat and open flame. Do not store near feeds and foodstuffs and keep away from children, domestic animals, pets, or wildlife.
[Handling]

All chemicals should be considered hazardous. Avoid direct physical contact. Use appropriate, approved safety equipment. Untrained individuals should not handle this chemical or its container. Handling should occur in a chemical fume hood.

This material is highly toxic orally in humans. Long term overexposure may cause susceptibility to bruising, longer blod clotting times, blood in the stool and urine. Blotches on the skin.

When heated to decomposition, it emits toxic fumes of sodium oxide.

Wear NIOSH/<SHA pproved air purifying respirator/positive pressure air-supplied respirator.
[Exposure Effects]

Warfarin has been established as a human teratogen, because it causes birth defects in the offspring of women receiving clinical doses of the compound during any trimester of pregnancy.

Slightly bitter crystalline powder. Odorless.

Do not touch spilled material; stop leak if you can do it without risk. Use water spray to reduce vapors. For small spills, take up with sand or other noncombustible absorbent material and place into containers for later disposal. For small dry spills, with clean shovel place material into clean, dry container and cover; move containers from spill area. For large spills, dike far ahead of spill for later disposal.
